There are 2 types of karmic connections. We either drag each other down or pull each other up. In the first type, we connect to each other by making more resentment or hatred, paying or chasing debts of many kinds, or building tangling attachments of love and lust, i.e. in general, building up more greed and more anger in the next life. In the second type of karmic connection, in this current life, we live in better respect and care for each other so in our next lives, we find it easier to listen to each other, seeing the good calm spirit in each other and thus pulling each other up.

So now, whatever we say, whatever we do - from a glance of the eye, a smile to the tiniest hint in our demeanor - we are creating a karmic connection with some others in our next lives. For what? So we can connect in the future lives to either helping or harming each other. And that is our own issue, only we know where we are heading.

Each and every one of us, who live in this world, in these three realms, either unknown or famous, must remember this very crucial point: all our activities, big or small, have karmic connecting effects to something or somebody. Like when I squash a mosquito or kill an ant, I create a karmic connection. In our next lives, those beings would love to return the favour and squash or kill me specifically, not any other person or being. That's a karmic connection. Whether it is a good or bad connection, that is another question.

We must first understand that every action we do every day from our three karma deeds (from our body, from our mouth or from our mind) we create karmic connections with something or somebody in this world. We create karmic connections even with insects, let alone humans.
