Q:

My husband says I have bad karma and blames me for his failures in business. I have been married for 8 years and have always been working and single-handedly providing for my family. My husband has failed in all his business attempts. Now he decides to go in business again and I am afraid he will again blame my bad karma for his failed business. Please advise.

A:

We ourselves cannot hope to help change your husband's way of thinking, but hopefully, he will read this and will understand the problem of your "unlucky" star.

Every single one of us has gone through many many lives, countless birth-death cycles. We have been through happiness and suffering because we have done both bad and good deeds, either in actions, speech or thoughts. All those causes are like seeds from different kinds of fruits, each will grow at its own time and environment. Some grow into nice edible fruits, some inedible or poisonous.

Untrained persons are often lazy in doing good deeds but wants to have good karma, or does bad deeds but does not want receiving bad karma.

Some train in half-way level and avoid bad deeds and does some good. They much enjoy good karmic results and get upset if they get bad ones.

Those training in highest level do goo, avoid bad and do not get overly joyous at good karmic returns or get upset at bad. Simple as that. Best wishes.
