If one sits here with jealousy, hatred, fear, anger, regrets then this is hell. That is a figure of speech. You may not believe this but hell exists in two forms. One is some place real. Some say could be underground. The other can be anywhere. If you had bad karma, once you stopped breathing, anywhere you get to will have all of those burning fires, boiling oils, tears, eye gouging, disembowels, sand papering of wounds ... Like a mobile jail.

So right here and right now, all depends on the way you live. In his discourses Buddha said that anywhere you sit with true understanding of life-death meaning of life, that is sainthood, that is where saints can come and sit and rest. Anywhere you sit with greed, anger, ignorance, lust, doubts, jealousy, selfishness, pettiness and small mindedness, that is hell.
